Hello there, this is D.
This is the 7th entry about the Rental Boxes in the shop.
In short, they're shops within our shop. And these 27cm x 24cm x 42cm boxes contain nothing but the tenants' creativity and predilection.
Box 11: Kouryou-san
He is an artisan keycap maker.
For those who have just gotten into the hobby, artisan keycaps are hand-crafted in resin or clay, one at a time.
These keycaps add flavor to the keyboard, even though they might be a little bit harder to press.
Box 11 has artisan keycaps from both Kouryou-san and others.
Last year, this box saw many popular artisan keycaps such as the Tuna Head keycap, the all-too-familiar Thinking Face emoji keycap, and the summer-themed Watermelon keycap. There was so much buzz that people lined up in front of the shop on the day they went on sale.
So, what's in the box now?
Keycaps that have actual spices in them.
Cumin, cardamom, and cloves!
Keycaps with Hammerhead Sharks. These two are apparently rare colors.
A hand that looks like the Muddy Hand from Dragon Quest, and a Fist.
A foot. The muscles and the blood vessels are quite realistic. I used to sketch these when I was trying to get into a Fine Arts college.
Prices range from 2,000 yen to 6,500 yen.
Words and photos do not do these artisan keycaps justice. Please come check them out at the shop!
